Dealer terms

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Overview

These terms cover accounts on the Dealer, Dealer Pro, and Dealer Terminal tiers. They sit on top of our Terms of Service, which also apply to you. If anything on this page conflicts with the Terms of Service, this page controls for Dealer accounts.

How you got here, and how you accept these terms

Dealer accounts are set up by Collected, after a conversation with someone on our team. You tell us you want an account, you give us your website and an email address, and we build it for you. We keep a record of that conversation.

You accept these terms the first time you sign in to your account. When you first sign in, we show you these terms and ask you to accept them before you go any further. That acceptance is what puts this agreement in place, for you and for the business you represent. If you are signing in on behalf of a business, you are confirming you have authority to agree for it.

Between the conversation and your first sign-in, your listings may already be live, because that is what you asked us to do. If at any point you decide you do not want them there, tell us and we will take them down. See Closing your account below. You do not have to sign in first, and you do not have to give a reason.

If an account was created in your name and you did not ask for it, email [email protected]. We will close it and remove the listings.

What a Dealer account gives you

Your inventory on Collected, free. Your watches appear in Shop, with your name on them, in front of buyers who are actively looking.

Offers. Buyers send you offers. You accept or decline.

A profile. Your name, your bio, your contact details, and everything you have for sale in one place.

No commission. Collected does not take a percentage of your sales. You keep what you sell for, and we do not ask you to route sales through us. How you close is your business.

Paid tiers add inbound intake, listing management, counter-offers, sales reporting, business analytics, and the wholesale marketplace. Pricing is quoted directly. There is no self-serve upgrade or downgrade; contact us and we will handle it.

Listings we create from your website

On the Dealer tier, you do not upload anything. We create your listings from your own public website.

Here is exactly how that works.

We retrieve your site periodically and publish what we find. We do not check it, correct it, or confirm that a watch is still available.

You are responsible for keeping your own website current. A listing on Collected reflects your site as we last retrieved it. If a watch has sold, changed price, or changed condition and your site does not say so, the Collected listing will not say so either.

Because of that, a listing we publish for you is not an offer to sell and does not bind you to any price. It is an invitation for a buyer to contact you. You decide whether to respond to an offer, and on what terms.

You authorize our automated access to your website for this purpose. If your site has terms or technical rules that would otherwise prohibit it, your authorization here overrides them as between you and us.

You can ask us to stop, or to leave particular watches out, at any time. Email [email protected].

On the Dealer Pro and Dealer Terminal tiers you create and edit listings yourself. A listing you publish yourself is your offer to sell at the price you set, and you are responsible for keeping it accurate.

We do not guarantee placement or visibility. How listings are ordered, filtered, and featured across Collected is up to us, and it changes. We may reorder, filter, promote, or omit listings at any time, and we may change how any of that works without telling you first. Your listings being on Collected is not a promise that they will appear in any particular position, or that any particular buyer will see them.

Your listing content

Your photographs, your descriptions, and your specifications are yours. Nothing on this page changes that.

You grant Collected a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, and distribute that content for three purposes:

  1. To publish your listings on Collected

  2. To feature those listings and your business in Collected's marketing, including email, social posts, and editorial

  3. To reformat, resize, or crop the content so it displays correctly in our formats

What we do not do with it. We do not sell your content. We do not license it to anyone else. We do not use it to promote another seller's watch. We do not remove your watermarks or credits. We do not claim ownership of any of it.

What you get back. Every listing we publish carries your name and links to your Collected profile, where buyers can see everything you have listed and contact you. When we feature a watch in a marketing email or a social post, we are sending buyers to you. That is the trade: we are not making money from your photographs, we are using them to bring you leads.

This license is revocable. Email [email protected] and we will remove your listings and stop using your content in new marketing within five business days. Marketing that has already been sent or published may stay in circulation, because we cannot recall an email that has gone out, and we keep internal records where the law requires it.

Your side of it. You confirm that you own this content, or have the right to let us use it. If someone claims rights in a photo or description on your listings, tell us and we will remove it.

Using Collected for what it is

Sell real watches. Describe them accurately. Answer buyers.

Do not list counterfeit watches, watches you do not own or have the right to sell, or watches subject to a lien or claim you have not disclosed.

Do not create false accounts, manipulate prices or apparent demand, or use Collected to harvest buyer contact details for anything other than the sale in front of you.

You are responsible for complying with the law that applies to your business. That includes sales and income tax, licensing, sanctions and export controls, and any anti-money-laundering obligations that apply to dealers in high-value goods where you operate. Collected does not advise you on any of that.

ID verification and business validation

ID verification. When a buyer uses Collected Deal, you may be asked to complete ID verification through our provider. That check is requested by the buyer as part of the Deal. It is not something we require in order for you to hold an account, it confirms identity and nothing else, and we do not display your verification status on your profile.

Business validation. We may ask you for business documents, which may include articles of incorporation, a certificate of insurance, and a reseller's permit. We use these internally to confirm who we are dealing with. We do not display a validation status, badge, or any similar mark on your profile, and we do not tell buyers that your business has been checked. Reviewing a document is not an audit, is not ongoing monitoring, and is not an endorsement. We do not inspect your inventory, confirm that you own what you list, or review your finances. If we ever start showing a validation status to buyers, we will update this page before we do. You are responsible for the documents you give us being genuine and current, and for telling us when something changes.

Fees

The Dealer tier is free. There is no listing fee and no commission.

Paid tiers carry a subscription quoted directly to you and billed annually.

Your subscription renews automatically. At the end of each annual term it renews for another year at the then-current price, unless you cancel before it does. We will email you at least 30 days before each renewal to tell you the renewal date, what you will be charged, and how to cancel.

Cancelling. Email [email protected] at any time. That is the same way you set the account up, and it is all we ask. You can also cancel by deleting your account in the app.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current term. You keep everything your tier includes until then, and we do not refund any part of a term you have already paid for.

Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we will tell you before one takes effect.

If a buyer uses Collected Deal on a transaction with you, that fee is described in the Collected Deal Terms. It is paid by the buyer, never by you, and it is not a commission on your sale. The buyer chooses whether to use it.

We may introduce fees for new services in the future. Any new fee will be optional or agreed with you in advance. We will tell you what it is before it applies to your account, and we will not apply it to a sale you have already made.

Your account and your data

The account is tied to the email address you gave us. We use that address for anything that matters contractually, so keep it current and tell us if it changes.

One account per business. Do not share your sign-in or transfer the account to someone else without telling us.

How we handle your information is in the Privacy Policy.

Closing your account

You can leave at any time, for any reason or none. Email [email protected]. We will remove your listings and close the account. Removal happens within five business days.

We can end it too, if you break these terms, if we reasonably believe your account is being used for fraud or to sell counterfeit goods, or if we stop offering the Dealer tier. Unless the situation is serious, we will tell you first and give you a chance to sort it out.

If you are on a paid tier. Subscriptions are sold as an annual term. If you close your account or move to the free tier during that term, you keep access until the term ends and we do not refund any part of it. If we close your account because you broke these terms, access ends immediately and no refund is due. If we close it for our own reasons, including because we stop offering a tier, we refund the unused part of your term.

After the account closes, we stop publishing your listings and stop using your content in new marketing. Records we are required to keep, backups, and marketing already published are the exceptions.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page. If a change is material, we will email the address on your account and post the new version here before it takes effect. If you do not agree with a change, tell us and close the account; we will remove your listings.

Liability

Collected is not a party to your sales. We do not guarantee that any watch will sell, that any buyer will pay, or that the Service will be available without interruption.

The disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions in our Terms of Service apply to this agreement.
