We are excited to share a big step forward for Collected: membership sign-up is now live. This marks one of the most important milestones in our journey to build the infrastructure the watch community has long needed.
There are two membership types: Dealer and Insider. Our Dealer membership is $200/mo (or $2,000/year), and is the operating system designed for watch dealers to run their businesses. Our Insider membership is free and allows users to participate in social features, shop, connect directly with sellers, and manage their collection.
If you’ve previously signed up for a free account, your account is still active and you’ve been put into the Insider membership. If you’ve verified your ID via Plaid during a beta transaction, you will now have a verification checkmark confirming your status to the community.
If you are a seller who previously signed up, you will need to go through the application process to activate your Dealer membership and enable Dealer Tools on your dashboard. The application process includes setting up your transaction preferences, submitting the appropriate business documentation, verifying your identity via Plaid, and adding your payment details. This ensures a high level of verification and trust across the marketplace—giving both sides more confidence. Once approved, every Dealer on Collected starts with a 30-day free trial.
We spent the summer diligently working to reduce friction, strengthen security, and improve stability so that Collected would be ready for the broader community. The product is running smoothly and has been market-tested in live beta where we processed sales across a diverse set of buyers and sellers.
Along the way, we also released two key features for Dealers: Terminal (business analytics) and Clients (CRM). Terminal gives dealers visibility into their business, while Clients helps them manage and nurture relationships directly inside Collected. Both tools are already proving invaluable to beta Dealers and will continue to evolve as the product grows. This is only the beginning. In the coming weeks, we will roll out enhancements to the purchase experience and contract capabilities that will further streamline how deals are made and enforced in our ecosystem.
Our goal remains clear: to give both Dealers and Insiders the tools they need to transact confidently, transparently, and efficiently.
