Collected brings content suggestion to the applications used by businesses today. Using the context of your current slide or paragraph, Collected instantly delivers you and your team’s prior work to your fingertips. Collected suggests contextually relevant content from your other files to help you discover, reuse, and get inspiration from all your content.
Collected is free to sign up and try out with a limited account. Check out the plans page for details on all the plans available.
Your data is yours. We never share it. We never sell it. All data sent is transmitted to Collected in a "secure session" using Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) encryption technology, the standard for the web. You will complete a four-step process to complete your onboarding with Collected.

  1. Fill in your information
  2. Select a plan
  3. Link your cloud account(s)
  4. Get the plugins for the applications you use

Collected currently integrates with:

  • Microsoft Word and PowerPoint 2010, 2013, and 2016 for Windows
  • Microsoft Word and PowerPoint 2011 and 2016 for Mac
  • Google Docs
  • Chrome for use across the web wherever you can highlight or write text.

Yes. Collected will only see content from the folders that you have selected during the "Link a cloud account" step in the onboarding process.

After you authorize Collected to access your cloud account, you will immediately be asked to "Select your folders to link to Collected". Only the folders chosen during this step will be accessed by Collected and then be available in the suggestions while you use Collected.
Snippets are created from Google documents, Open documents (.odt), and Word documents (.doc and .docx) in your cloud accounts.
Slides are created from Google presentations, Open presentations (.odp), and PowerPoint presentations (.ppt and .pptx) in your cloud accounts.
Snippets and slides are meant to help you uncover, reuse, and get inspiration from your prior work. You can insert a snippet or slide into your current document or presentation by clicking on the '+' button. You can also view the original file(s) the snippet or slide was created from to see it in its original context by clicking on the title.
It takes a little while to process all the content in your cloud accounts for the first time, but they'll begin to appear as soon as they are created.
No. When you sign up and link your cloud account, Collected will only have permission to access content that you have access to as well. Therefore, you (or anyone else) will only see content that you already have permission to access, whether that is a private folder or a shared one.

Collected will suggest snippets or slides from only PowerPoint (ppt, pptx), Word (doc, docx), Open Documents (odp, odp), and Google Docs. However, you can also receive file suggestions from other content rich file types, including:

  • Documents: doc, docx, docm, dot, dotx, odt, pdf, txt, rtf
  • Presentations: ppt, pptx, pptm, pot, potx, potm, odp
  • Spreadsheets: xls, xlsx, xlsm, xlt, xltx, xltm, ods
  • Developer Files: rb, java, js, py, php, awk
  • Statistical Files: r, sas, spss
